More AI Help

Since we are using AI (in the form of SUNO) to help make our music, we might investigate other AI tools that help us further or help us to promote our songs. One of the tools i have used is Talking Photos (talkingphotos. ai) which helps you create images and videos. One advantage of TalkingPhotos is that it comes at a one-off price with no ongoing subscription, yet since it is a web-based service, you get all the updates. there are plenty of video tutorials to show you how to use the product and it is quite easy to use. There are a few glitches in the product which you get used to and generally can work around - otherwise you have to be patient and wait for an upgrade to the software.

One useful function is to convert a still image into a moving video. This includes making videos of your AI artist singing one of your songs (or making a spoken introduction to a song). This is useful for Instagram and YouTube but i have found a little ‘extra’ use. If you have your music on Spotify (and Distrokid includes Spotify - natiurally - in its distribution) then you can add a ‘canvas’ which is a very short, silent video (3-8 seconds) which is shown on a loop while a Spotify listener listens to your song. It is claimed thar the use of a canvas increases listener engagement considerably.

When you use TalkingPhotos to create a singing video (especially where your song has a short instrumenrtal introduction , your singer will move slightly This can be trimmed and used (without the sound which can be stripped off in your video editor) as a canvas.

Below are examples of a singing video and associated canvas for one of my songs. (Canvas first - remember this loops while the song is playing, then singing video). Remember also, that all I submitted to TalkingPhotos was a photo of my singer and the audio track of the song.
